As the second skate shoe we ever made, the Old Skool became an icon beyond the world of skateboarding—particularly in underground music scenes. Now, almost 50 years later, we’re celebrating this bond with the Premium Old Skool Music Collection—featuring three unique capsules inspired by different eras of the Old Skool in music. The Hip Hop Capsule features vibrant colors on gum soles that call back to sought-after colorways from the 2010s when underground hip hop took the Old Skool to new places. Our updated Premium build is the same iconic Old Skool silhouette refined for today with enhanced cushioning and an improved fit. Gum sidewalls, higher foxing tape and archival branding honor the original details of ‘90s era-Vans footwear.
